Perfect hydraulics
The Zortström technology used in the Hilti plant combines different temperature levels in the heating and cooling area extremely efficiently. The hydraulics work perfectly. In addition, the power consumption of speed-controlled high-efficiency pumps is greatly reduced by hydraulic decoupling.
Enormous gas and electricity savings
The waste heat from the plastic mold production flows into the assigned temperature level and covers almost the entire energy requirement of the heating system. This saves an enormous amount of gas and electricity. In summer, the heat generators are switched to cooling the factory and the machines. Depending on the outside temperature, a large proportion of the energy is blown through the recooling plant. In addition, cooling is primarily supplied by the well cooling system. If this is not sufficient, the chiller can be switched on for cooling.
